1940s Candlelight Satin Blouse XS/S/M
ITEM DETAILS
This true 1940s beauty with exceptional & subtle attention to detail was once a wedding gown, converted into a blouse by a previous owner at some point. Featuring floral soutache embroidery design on luminous satin, and incredible sleeves with shoulder pads tapering down into a pointed gauntlet at wrist. Original satin buttons at wrists & back of neck, gathered bust, side snaps at waist, and raw hem. A rare and personal favourite piece that still carries the love it was made with. Would style beautifully with jeans, palazzo pants, or skirts. Circa 1930s–1940s.

As vintage sizing usually varies from item to item, actual measurements can be the most accurate way to determine sizing & fit. We hand measure all our garments. Measurements are taken in inches, with the garment laying flat and then doubled where appropriate for correct sizing (i.e. for waist & bust).
For best fit, we recommend checking measurements of your best fitting garment or your own body. Please get in touch if you have any enquiries regarding measurements or fit.
